Come December and everyone gets into the Christmassy mood irrelevant of which nationality we belong.  Christmas brings to mind…the caring Santa Claus, the evergreen Christmas Tree, fun and frolic. A time for exchanging gifts to our near and dear ones. A time for joy, laughter and music. And therefore, CAC Events have organized a X’Mas Bash on 25th December at the Al Thuraya Ballroom, Hotel Renaissance. Tickets are priced @

The theming at the Ballroom is so  picturesque, which would make one feel the true Spirit of Christmas. So come one and all, leaving all your woes and worries behind and  celebrate the birth of our Lord.  The band to set your feet rocking at this show,  is the “One World Band” performing Live. The band comprises of a six piece band members headed by Mr. Shane Antonio under the name “Rhapsody” who founded it in the year 2000 and have ever since established themselves in the UAE. Shane, is also more popularly known as Dj Playboy. They play a selection of  English Music entailing all sentimental love songs, best meant for the occasion, Pop, Reggae, Rock –n-Roll, Jazz, Disco, R & B, Country  etc etc. They are also into playing Hindi Remixes as well as Bhangra, Latino, Portuguese, Arabic, Goan Masala, Golden Oldies as well as Instrumentals. One World Band caters to a multi-racial and multi-cultural crowd, and is definitely a crowd-puller,  and since UAE is a cosmopolitan place, they best suit the taste of all segments of people. One World Band has the versatility in delivering quality performance. The diverse influential background of the band members adds to the unique flavour of this group and is reflected in their renditions.
